New Zealand all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme has been included in the Kolkata Knight Riders' squad as a replacement for Andre Russell for the tenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), beginning April 5.
Russell is currently serving out a one-year ban for the violation of whereabouts clause pertaining anti-doping rules.
De Grandhomme has featured in six Tests, nine One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and eight T20 Internationals for New Zealand so far.
He made his Test debut for New Zealand in late 2016 and marked the occasion with a six-wicket haul.
Kolkata Knight Riders will commence their IPL 2017 campaign on Friday when they take on Gujarat Lions at the SCA Stadium, Rajkot.
