Kings XI Punjab star batsman Glenn Maxwell received an official reprimand for showing dissent at an umpire's decision during his side crushing eight-wicket defeat against Delhi Daredevils in their Indian Premier League match at the Ferozshah Kotla Stadium on Saturday.
The Australian batsman admitted to have breached the level 1 offence under Article 2.1.5 of the IPL Code of Conduct for Players and Team Officials and has accepted the sanction.
Maxwell, who got dismissed for duck during the match and gave away 11 runs in the only over that he bowled, was reprimanded by match referee Roshan Mahanama.
