While touting Iran's "good experience" in fighting terrorism, Iranian Parliament head has reportedly said that air strikes alone would not be enough to destroy the Islamic State (IS) in Iraq and Syria.
Ali Larijani, chairman of the Parliament of Iran, said that terrorists cannot be destroyed by "dropping bombs on their heads" and remarked that Iran knows it because they have fought terrorists in the past, reported the CNN.
He added that terrorism cannot be solved by "occupation" but one must choose "another method" to fight it. However, he refused to elaborate on what the other method was by saying that it would tip off the IS.
