Indian fast bowler Ishant Sharma has been found guilty of breaching the ICC Code of Conduct on Day four of the third Test against Sri Lanka at Colombo on Monday.
Besides Sharma, Lahiru Thirimanne, Dinesh Chandimal and Dhammika Prasad were also charged for misconduct,Sport24 reported.
Confirming the news, ICC Media wrote on Twitter, "Chandimal, Sharma, Thirimanne & Prasad charged for breaching ICC Code of Conduct. Details to be announced after the conclusion of the Test,"
The incident happened in the second innings when Sharma got into verbal battle with several players of Sri Lanka, after Prasad bowled three consecutive bouncers to him.
Sharma was earlier charged for misconduct during P.Sara Oval Test, as a result facing a fine of 65 percent of his match fees.
