Liverpool striker Fabio Borini has sealed a four-year deal with Sunderland in a deal worth seven million pounds.
The 24-year-old Italy international, who had a loan spell with Sunderland, played a vital role in the Black Cats' run to the 2014 Capital One Cup final.
Reflecting on his new club, Borini said that he was delighted to be back at Sunderland, adding that it would be emotional for him to play at the Stadium of Light again, the Guardian reported.
Borini has scored only twice in his 25 appearances for Liverpool and scored seven times in the previous season for Sunderland on loan.
