With reports of evidence substantiating the fact that separatist leader in Valley are on Pakistan's payrolls, Kashmiri activist Sushil Pandit on Sunday questioned the government and asked what measures is the ruling dispensation taking in order to unearth anti-India forces from Jammu and Kashmir.
Asserting that the fact of separatists being funded by ISI is not new, Pandit said while Pakistan continues to brew tension in Kashmir what are the preventive measure our government are taking.
"This is nothing new. It's just that we have got fresh evidence of it. But the point is while Pakistan will do what they do, what are we doing? How can such violent Jehadi separatists survive trying to burn our Kashmir and ruin lives there, what are we doing to prevent it?," said Pandit.
According to reports, post the recent arrest of two ISI operatives in India, it has come to light that separatists in Jammu and Kashmir area have been getting a constant flow of funds - to the tune of Rs 70 lakh - from the Pakistan ISI over the past few months.
Slew of documents that have been accessed cite that the nexus between Pakistan and the separatist leaders is responsible for instigating the youth to conduct violent acts in the conflict-ridden state of Jammu and Kashmir.
