J-K: Delta Force busts militant hideout in Laskarwan forest

A joint team of Delta Force and police on Friday busted a militant hideout in Laskarwan forest of Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition.

Based on specific information about the presence of a militant hideout in Laskarwan forest, the troops of Delta Force and police launched a joint search operation in the thick jungles of Laskarwan.

They team recovered one 7.62 mm sniper rifle, one universal machine gun, one under barrel grenade launcher, one hand grenade, three sniper magazines, 42 rounds of sniper ammunition, two belt boxes of universal machine gun(without belt), three bombs (unknown), one radio set, one antenna mount, 13 kgs explosive, one blanket, three leather shoes and one rucksack.

General Officer Commanding of Delta Force complimented the troops who took part in the in the operation.
