Jennifer Lopez is set to topline 13-episode of FBI drama series 'Shades Of Blue' at NBC.
Lopez will also be executive producing the series with her 'American Idol' co-star Ryan Seacrest.
The series has been written by Adi Hasak (From Paris with Love), the project will begin working on scripts in June with an eye toward a 2015 production start and will be for the 2015-16 season, Deadline reported.
'Shades of Blue' is going to be a complex police series centering on Harlee McCord (Lopez), a single mother and detective who has been recruited for the FBI's anti-corruption task force undercover work.
Part of a close-knit unit known for its conviction record, McCord has become compromised by her colleagues and finds herself facing moral dilemma of working against her cop brothers in order to redeem herself.
