Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who announced the seat sharing for the upcoming state assembly polls here on Wednesday, continued his tirade against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and said that those who have insulted me have insulted the people of Bihar.

"A consensus has been developed on seat-sharing between all three parties of 'maha gathbandhan' (grand alliance). The JD (U) will contest on 100 seats, RJD will contest on 100 seats and Congress will contest on 40 seats in Bihar Assembly polls," Nitish told the media here.

Taking a jibe at Prime Minister Modi's DNA remark, Nitish said: "The people of Bihar are sending their DNA samples stating that they have the same DNA as mine."

Expressing confidence that the grand alliance of Janata Parivar would form the next government in Bihar, Nitish said that they would fulfill the commitments made to the people.

The Chief Minister also poked fun at Prime Minister Modi's 'Parivartan rally' aimed at giving a boost to the BJP's campaign in Bihar ahead of the assembly polls scheduled in the state for later this year.

"What change he wants? Does he want to ruin the rising dignity of Bihar?" he asked.

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, who was also present in the conference, announced that a 'Swabhimaan rally' will be held at Gandhi Maidan, Patna, on August 30 where the grand alliance would give befitting replies to Prime Minister Modi for every insult.

"We will powerfully defeat the BJP, RSS in the upcoming Bihar polls. We all are one and will be one," he added.

Congress leader C.P. Joshi, who was also present during the media briefing, announced that his party's leadership would also participate in the 'Swabhimaan rally'.
