A Japanese man has broken his own Guinness world record by running more than half a second faster on his four limbs, as compared to his last year's record.
Kenichi Ito finished a 100-meter dash in 16.87 seconds, more than half a second faster than his 2012 run of 17.47 seconds, the Japan Times reports.
The 30-year-old has been studying how primates move and training himself for a decade to move on all four limbs in his everyday life.
He hopes racing on four limbs will one day become an official track and field event, the report added.
