Jason Derulo admitted that he has been dating after his unexpected split from Jordin Sparks last September.
The 25-year old singer, who believes beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, revealed that he wanted someone like him, and someone who didn't expect lavish things all the time, E! Online reported.
Derulo said that he was looking for a girl, who was "smart", with whom he could have an "intelligent conversation" and who desired to take care of him like he wanted.
Derulo also said that he had not yet listened to Sparks's new music and that his new music video 'Want to Want Me' was not centered on his breakup.
