The Janata Dal (United) on Friday demanded to know the agenda of the meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi.

"I want Prime Minister Modi and MIM chief Owaisi to tell the nation about the secret of their meeting. Was the meeting focused at defeating the Mahagathbandhan in Bihar or was it focused to uplift the minorities in the state?" JD (U) leader K C Tyagi told ANI here.

AIMIM chief Owaisi earlier announced that his party would contest the upcoming Bihar Assembly polls, saying his party would contest the polls in the Seemanchal region in Bihar.

The 243-member Bihar Assembly comes to an end on November 29. The polls in the state will begin on October 12 and end on November 5.
