Jennifer Jason Leigh has landed a female lead role in Quentin Tarantino's movie 'The Hateful Eight,' it has been revealed.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Amber Tamblyn took on the role of female lead Daisy during the live reading, but Tarantino looked at several actresses for the coveted role for the film version, which will be shot in early 2015.
Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Tim Roth and Michael Madsen, who were part of a star-studded reading of the script in April, are all set to appear in the film version that will be produced by Richard Gladstein and Stacey Sher, while the Weinstein brothers and G. Mac Brown will be the executive producers.
