Jennifer Lawrence has revealed that she took the role in the film 'American Hustle' because she found out that she was being cast opposite Christian Bale.
According to Universal Pictures India, the 23-year-old actress said that she had to play the role of a manic-depressive alcoholic, and she couldn't wait to play it, besides she also got to make out with Bale.
Lawrence was initially supposed to take a break between films 'Catching Fire' and 'X-Men', till director David O Russell asked her to play the role of Christian Bale's wife.
