Viggo Mortensen and Jeremy Irons will receive career tributes at the upcoming Marrakech International Film Festival in December 2014.
The organizers said that the 66-year-old Oscar winning star was "amongst the best-loved actors among film fans the world over," and admired the 'Lord of the Rings' actor, Mortensen's screen career of almost 20 years, the Hollywood Reporter reported.
Also recognized with a tribute would be the acclaimed Egyptian actor Adel Imam and French actress Isabelle Huppert at the North African festival, would serve as president of this year's jury.
The remaining jurors and the competition selection are yet to be announced.
