Jindal Global Business School (JGBS) of O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) has signed a MoU with New Zealand's University of Otago to opportune its students to learn the ropes of international business at the Otago Master of International Business (MIntBus) and Master of Marketing Course (MMart).
JGBS students would complete first year of MBA programme in Sonepat and head to Otago University to complete the second year of the academic course. Students will be awarded dual degrees by JGU and Otago MIntBus and MMart on successful completion of Otago MIntBus and MMart.
"A quality global business degree program not only helps students develop a strong foundation in business fundamentals but also in acquiring the skills and knowledge necessary to compete in a global marketplace," said founding vice chancellor, JGU, Professor Dr. C Raj Kumar.
The MoU was signed between Dean, JGBS, Dr. Tapan Panda, and pro-vice chancellor (Commerce), Otago Business School, Professor Robin Gauld. This academic understanding between two global Universities will allow students to experience the best of both worlds.
Dr. Panda further said that the MoU provides the students an opportunity to earn dual masters. The students would also receive a scholarship of NZ$5000 during the programme. Such an initiative would help JGU to build truly world class business leaders.
