Jodie Sweetin's former fiance Justin Hodak has been sentenced jail for more than six years after he was found guilty on the pretext of possession of a deadly weapon and falsifying evidence by threatening a witness.
Hodak has been sentenced to jail for six years and eight months.
The decision comes after a dark legal battle that started when he threatened to kill himself after Jodie ended their year-long engagement.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hodak appeared in court in Van Nuys, California and pleaded "no contest" to two charges.
He will be required to complete a 52-week domestic violence program, obey a protective order and refrain from posting pictures or videos of Sweetin.
Previously, Hodak was arrested three times within a nine-day period.
During the investigation, Hodak was found to be in possession of a firearm, which he wasn't allowed to have due to a prior felony.
