British tennis star Johanna Konta surged into the world's top 10 in the latest women's tennis rankings issued by the WTA on Monday.
The 25-year-old's climbed to her career-best seventh spot after defeating Denmark's Caroline Wozniacki 6-4, 6-3 in the finals of the Miami Open.
Former world number one Wozniacki, on the other hand, slipped to 12th after the weekend loss in Miami, Sport24 reported.
Meanwhile, Germany's Angelique Kerber continues to remain at the top of the rankings, maintaining a lead of 320 points over the former long-term incumbent, Serena Williams.
