The veteran American journalist Katie Couric has finally renewed her contract with Yahoo after rumours of her pending re-signing with Yahoo.
Yahoo announced in their official statement that the 58-year-old TV host would be continuing to be Yahoo's global news anchor, Deadline.com reported.
Marissa Mayer, CEO of Yahoo, also titled the American TV personality "a good investment" as she has raised the profile of her interviewees and brought more ad dollars to the company
Reportedly, Couric's salary would increase from 6 million dollars to 10 million dollars under the new deal.
