New Delhi, Nov 23 (ANI): India's largest and fastest growing food company, Jubilant FoodWorks, which holds the master franchise for Domino's Pizza in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh is all set to expand its business with an investment plan of Rs. 200 crore.

With construction of a state-of-the-art factory in Greater Noida, the company focuses to add around 5,000 employees by this fiscal year.

Domino's Pizza plans to recruit most of these people for its 150 new stores and 40 new Dunkin' Donuts stores in India.

"Unlike most other companies (competitors including food delivery startups), we are on with our expansion plans," Jubilant FoodWorks CEO Ajay Kaul told ANI in an exclusive interview.

"In February, the company is about to open its 1000th Domino's Pizza store. It currently has about 950 such stores. We are also setting up a state-of-the-art factory in Greater Noida, which will focus on operations of our brand Domino's Pizza," added Kaul.

Commenting on Domino's being the most loved and trusted food chain, Kaul said that pizza is still the revenue driver for Jubilant FoodWorks and added that India is the second largest market for its pizza business after the United States.

Jubilant FoodWorks operates Domino's Pizza brand with the exclusive rights for India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. It has around 70 percent market share in India.

Domino's Pizza had earlier announced its partnership with Zippr, a Hyderabad based startup that is solving the problem of complex addresses.

With this partnership, Domino's consumers will be able to share their address during checkout on its online ordering platform, Jubilant Food Works said in a statement.

Domino's would start Zippr services initially for Delhi NCR users and the same would be rolled out in other cities within a month.
