Pakistani international cricketer Junaid Khan, who currently represents England's domestic side Lancashire in the Natwest Twenty20 Blast competition, has revealed that he wants to be remembered like Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis.

Khan, who made his international debut for Pakistan in the April 2011 on the tour of the West Indies, said that his dream has always been that he wanted to play Test cricket for his country, even if it was only one Test match so he could say that he was a Test cricketer.

According to Pak Passion, Khan said that he wants to play all formats of the game for Pakistan to the best of his abilities and when he retires he wants to be remembered like Akram and Younis, two Pakistani legends.

Khan said that when he retires he wants people to say yes Junaid Khan, he was a very good bowler and mention him alongside greats like Akram and Younis.

The left arm paceman also said that he is hoping that he gets the opportunity of working with Younis again in the future as he as the former right arm paceman could be the new head coach, subject to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Khan further said that it could only be a good thing for young bowlers like him to have the opportunity to work with someone with the experience and knowledge of Younis.
