Justin Bieber was recently booed at Canada's Juno Awards when he won the fans' choice prize.
The 'Baby' singer was not present to collect his award after beating the likes of Celine Dion, Drake and Michael Buble, BBC News reported.
Serena Ryder, who won songwriter of the year at the awards, said that Bieber was an amazing musician and he deserved that every bit of that award because he had been working his ass off his entire life.
Ryder added that they need to support how awesome he is and he was great and amazing.
Members of Canada's Olympic women's curling team collected the 20-year-old singer's award on his behalf.
