Justin Bieber was photographed illegally spray painted graffiti on an exterior wall of a beachside hotel in Brazil.
The 19-year-old Canadian pop musician, who is on in Brazil as part of his ongoing South American tour, was photographed painting the wall outside an upscale hotel in Rio's Sao Conrado neighborhood along with members of his entourage, Stuff.co.nz reported.
Police in Rio de Janeiro are investigating the matter after local paparazzi complained that the 'Baby' singer's bodyguards had accosted them.
Defacing buildings is a crime in Brazil punishable by up to one year in jail and a fine.
