Justin Bieber's mum Pattie Mallette has urged people to pray for her 19-year-old son while expressing concern over his welfare.
Mallette, who has strong religious beliefs, has expressed concern for her 19-year-old son following his alleged use of recreational drugs and behavioural issues, but insists fame is to blame for his wild antics.
She said that she think so many people go into the entertainment industry with amazing Christian roots and they go in with the right morals and they get influenced somehow.
She has asked people to keep him and the popstar in their minds.
However, Pattie, who gave birth to Justin when she was just 17, empathizes with her son's wild behaviour having struggled with drug addiction, and believes that the 'Boyfriend' hitmaker shouldn't be criticised for his wild partying and run-ins with the law.
According to The Sun newspaper, Pattie said during a night out in Houston, Texas that she started self-medicating with drugs and alcohol when she was 17, and she tried to commit suicide.
