A source close to Mayweather said that the boxer has a real soft spot for Bieber and allowed him to lead his team for the re-match with Marcos Maidana, the Daily Star reported.
The source continued that but this time the American professional boxer had to tell the 21-year-old singer that there was no way he could allow him to take centre stage again.
Instead, the 38-year-old boxer has told Bieber that he could walk behind him and his trainers, technical staff and relatives, all of whom the champ believes were more deserving of sharing in his glory.
