It looks like Justin Trudeau is a 'die hard' fan of 'Star Wars'.
Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took the internet by storm when he was spotted wearing Chewbacca socks at the inaugural Bloomberg Global Business Forum in New York.
As soon as the pictures hit the net, it wasn't just random nerds who noticed, even celebrities took note.
'Star Trek' actor, William Shatner in a candid tweet, wrote, "@JustinTrudeau I thought we were friends? Chewbacca socks?"
The Canadian Prime Minister was on stage with Dutch PM Mark Rutte, discussing trade, when attention turned toward his socks.
Twitter went berserk after the photo went viral and people could not resist but fall in love with Justin Trudeau a little more.
Some of the reactions are:
A user tweeted, "Justin & his Chewbacca socks..... #soxappeal"
"@JustinTrudeau is seriously rocking #Chewbacca socks! Like i needed more reasons to like the guy haha #PrimeMinister #StarWars," tweeted another user.
Meanwhile, another user wrote, "Justin Trudeau wearing Chewbacca socks... the stuff of fantasies around the globe."
This is not the first time Trudeau has paid homage to the characters of 'Star Wars'.
Earlier in the year, he posted this image on May 4, otherwise known as 'Star Wars Day', of a pair of socks featuring C-3PO and R2-D2.
