Taliban has claimed responsibility for the explosion during the New Year celebrations in a popular restaurant at the 9th street of Taimani in Kabul, where four civilians were injured.

According to Tolo News, the security forces quickly cordoned off the area around the restaurant.
Some houses in the peripheral area have been damaged in the blast and no details have emerged so far on any casualties.
The situation is reportedly under control and the wounded people have been rushed to the emergency hospital reported the officials.
