Sujoy Ghosh's upcoming directorial venture, sequel of 2014-hit flick 'Kahaani,' titled 'Kahaani 2,' will hit the theatres on November 25 this year.
Renowned film critic Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle recently to announce this news.
"#Kahaani2 release date confirmed: 25 Nov 2016. Stars Vidya Balan, Arjun Rampal. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Presented by Jayantilal Gada [PEN]," he tweeted.
For the sequel, Arjun Rampal has been taken on board.
Earlier, filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh and the 38-year-old actress had some bitterness over the ill-fated project 'Durga Rani Singh.' As per the rumours, after patching up with Vidya Balan, the director made 'Kahaani 2' and the story turned out to be similar to "Durga Rani Singh."
Presently, the whole team is in Kolkata for the shooting.
