Kannada edition of the book 'The Challenge of Public Relations' by Public Relation veteran C.K. Sardana was released here on Sunday by UVCE College of Engineering principal Dr. K.R. Venugopal.
While unveiling the book, Dr. Venugopal said that there was no book of this nature in Kannada and the book fills a void essential to the students of journalism in Karnataka.
The programme was organised by Institute of Media Studies and Research and Public Relations Council of India.
The book contains experiences of Sardana, who retired as General Manager, Corporate Public Relation, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL).
I. Ramamohan Rao former Principal Information Officer, Govt. of India, in a foreword said PR is much more important today requiring efficient PR professionals.
