Kate Moss art collection reaps over 1.6M pound at London auction

A collection of photographs and artwork of Kate Moss raised over 1.6million pounds at an auction in London.

The collection by Gert Elfering went under the hammer at Christie's and was reported to be very popular with the public, the Daily Star reported.

According to Christie's international head of photographs, Moss, who is one of the most photographed models in the world, gave her blessing to the sale which "attracted worldwide attention and admiration."

Among some of the most expensive piece, the artwork which fetched the most was a sculpture of the British star measuring 185cm in height by Allen Jones.
