The trailer of Sushant Singh Rajput and debutante Sara Ali Khan-starrer 'Kedarnath' is finally out and promises a visual treat in the form of the lead pair's crackling chemistry.
Set in the backdrop of the flash floods that wrecked the temple town in June 2013, the trailer is bound to take fans on a 'pilgrimage of love'.
In the film, the 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' star plays the role of a 'Pithu' named Mansoor, who carries luggage, old and ill people on his back, while Sara plays the role of a hindu tourist pilgrimage, Mukku.
The two minute and fifty nine-second-long trailer looks powerful as it highlights the love story of a hindu girl and a muslim boy and their struggle to deal with communal clashes.
Showcasing the power of love, Sushant and Sara - daughter of actors Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh - can be seen withstanding the wrath of nature as flash floods wreck havoc in Kedarnath.
The makers, the cast and the crew have been actively sharing photos and videos from behind the scenes of the film on their respective social media pages.
Furthermore, the director of the film, Abhishek Kapoor, went to seek blessings from the centuries-old Babulnath Temple that is situated on a small hillock near Girgaum before attending the trailer launch event.
'Kedarnath', slated to release on December 7, marks the debut of Sara and also stars Nitish Bharadwaj, Alka Amin, Sonali Sachdev, Pooja Gor, and Nishant Dahiya.
