Kenyan authorities have reportedly detained eight people over the weekend's Nairobi mall massacre, while three others held earlier have now been released after interrogation.

Interior Minister Joseph Ole Lenku said there were no formal reports of people still missing after the attack, News24 reports.

Earlier, the Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) had claimed that dozens of people were still missing.

Officials confirmed that 67 civilians and members of the security forces died and five attackers were killed in the four-day siege.
