A 62-year-old person was killed at Alappuzha in Kerala on Wednesday after the two-wheeler he was riding on was hit by the car in which Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia was travelling in.
The incident took place at around 11.30 a.m. when the MP was travelling in the car from Kochi to Alappuzha when his car hit the two-wheeler on the Kochi Alapuzha National Highway.
The deceased has been identified as Sasidharan, 62, a native of Pattanakad.
Scindia, however, escaped unhurt.
