Secretary of State John Kerry has said Russia is looking for a pretext to invade more of Ukraine.
The comments from Kerry came while condemning Russia's 'act of aggression' in Ukraine.
According to news24, during a visit to Kiev intended to show support for Ukraine's new leaders, Kerry told a news conference that the US reaffirmed its commitment to Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity according to international law.
He added that the US condemned the Russian Federation's act of aggression in Ukraine's Crimea region.
He added that Russia's move was clear that the country had been working hard to create a pretext for being able to invade further.
