Kesha has opened up about the treatment for her eating disorder after she realized that she was being hateful to herself and was really hurting her body.
The 27-year-old singer said that she had written songs about partying, but her dirty little secret was that she was actually incredibly responsible, the US magazine reported.
She revealed that she felt like a liar, telling people to love themselves as they are, while she herself started becoming overly critical of her own body because of the unrealistic expectations of the music industry for what a body was supposed to look like.
The 'Timber' hitmaker added that she knew she was ready to leave the rehab when she gained enough confidence to get out in a world where people tried to take pictures with the intention of putting them up online or printing them in magazines and which made her look terrible.
