Keys Hotels, part of the hospitality arm of the $2 billion Berggruen Group, celebrated Valentine's Day by lighting up the lives of differently abled children in Visakhapatnam and Bangalore.
Children, belonging to Sri Shanti Ashram were invited to Keys Select Hotel in Visakhapatnam, where they indulged in a scrumptious buffet and a number of delightful activities like magic and show, drawing competition and fun photo booths for the kids. On the other side, children from Cottolengo Special School were invited to Keys Select Hotel Whitefield at Bangalore for similar activities. Keys Hotels also handed out exciting gifts to the children in both the cities.
Gracing the events in both the cities with her presence was the vivacious model and actress Dayana Erappa as the Chief Guest. Dayana played, interacted and mingled with the kids. The objective of this initiative was to mark the occasion of Valentine's Day by spreading unconditional love and delight, in line with the company's philanthropic theme #LoveWithADifference. The company will be running lucrative offers for brunch throughout the Valentine's month.
"The idea was to create a mini-carnival like experience for the kids, so they enjoy and remember the day as something nostalgic and warm. A plethora of activities from interactive cooking sessions to fashion and magic shows captured the imagination of the children and kept them enthralled. We ensured the feast table was dressed to the nines with an array of counters for starters, main course and deserts. There was also a tandoori live counter in Vizag and a live appam counter in Bangalore, which the kids thoroughly enjoyed", said Manish Kusumwal, Corporate Chef, Keys Hotels.
"It was truly a delight to host this colourful brunch for the children. Our property came alive with their love, laughs and giggles and we were truly happy to see them having so much fun. We hope the day becomes something they would fondly think of forever and continues to delight their little minds in the future", said Roshan Uchil-Director Operations, Keys Hotels.
"I am so happy that I got a chance to spend the day with these young minds. I have been a staunch believer of 'It is in giving that we receive' and today just giving my time to these kids has made me so feel so content. This has been one of my best Valentine's Day. I hope we continue to do this in the future too and everyone else is inspired to do the same", added Model and Actress, Dayana Erappa. This story is provided by NewsVoir.
