The ex-bodyguard of the former Supreme leader of North Korea Kim Jong Il believes that current leader of the country Kim Jong-un is ever "crueler" than his father.

According to the Mirror, Lee Young-guk said that Kim sent a senior official to a concentration camp to die for using his ashtray.

Lee said that he used to be brainwashed by the regime while he was working with Kim Jong Un's father during 1980s.

Lee Young-Guk was chosen to protect Kim in 1979, while his father Kim Il Sung still ruled North Korea.

Lee also said that he had to train extensively to become an elite bodyguard of the leader.
