Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons have been cast to star in FX's second installment of 'Fargo.'
The miniseries franchise, which is based on the cult Coen brothers movie, will see the actors in co-starring roles, where Dunst, 32 would play Peggy Blomquist, a small-town beautician with big city dreams, while Plemons plays her husband Ed, a butcher's assistant, who wants to be supportive of his wife's self-discovery, even if he doesn't quite understand it, Deadline.com reported.
The 10-episode new chapter has been set in 1979 in Sioux Falls, SD and Luverne, MN, and will follow a young State Police Officer Lou Solverson, who's recently come back from Vietnam, handle fresh "true crime" case.
Noah Hawley, the writer-showrunner behind the Emmy-winning first installment, will return to executive produce with Joel and Ethan Coen, Warren Littlefield and John Cameron for MGM Television and FX Productions.
The series will begin production in Calgary in January 2015, and is anticipated to premiere next fall.
