Sacked England batsman Kevin Pietersen has reportedly joined the commentary team to cover the Cricket World Cup for Fox Sports.
Amid consistent calls for his reinstatement to the England team, which have only grown louder since Eoin Morgan's men's dismal exit from the Cup, Pietersen would touch down in Sydney this week to commence his hosting duties, Fox Sports reported.
Pietersen's debut appearance on Fox Sports' exclusive coverage would be on Saturday, 14 March, for the Australia versus Scotland tie.
Joining Tony Squires and Australian greats Glenn McGrath and Damien Fleming on Saturday, the channel expects that Pietersen would bring his expert analysis and forthright opinions to the panel, the report added.
