The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday launched a scathing attack on Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Yadav for mocking at Prime Minister Modi publicly saying the leader was in a state of shock after the special package announcement.
"Ever since the PM has announced the special package for Bihar, it has put Lalu Yadav is in complete shock," said Rajeev Pratap Rudy, the Union Minister of State for Skill Development.
"Every Bihari in world on whatever status he has gets completely demolished when the name of Lalu crops up," he added.
"Nobody in Bihar takes him seriously when he talks of PM Modi," said Rudy of Lalu.
"People of Bihar are not fools. They are people of responsibility and pride but that pride is lost whenever we take the name of Lalu Prasad Yadav," he added.
On Wednesday, Lalu Prasad Yadav had mimicked PM Narendra Modi for the way he announced the special package.
