Lankan Prez. to appoint new Governor of Central Bank today

Sri Lanka President Maithripala Sirisena said that he will today appoint a new Governor to the Central Bank.

"I will appoint a new Governor to the Central Bank in the coming hours," he tweeted.

The announcement about the appointment comes as the current governor Arjuna Mahendran's term is to expire tomorrow.
