The Las Vegas Police (LVMPD) has confirmed that at least 50 persons were killed and 200 were injured in a shooting incident at a country music festival opposite the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Resort on the Las Vegas Strip.
The concert shooting suspect has been identified as Stephen Paddock, a 64-year-old local resident, who has been killed by the police.
The police have also tracked down Paddock's female companion, Marilou Danley, a 62-year-old, who was wanted as a person of interest in this incident, reported CNN.
Las Vegas concert is the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.
Shots were fired from the 32nd floor of the resort, according to police.
Hundreds of people were seen fleeing the area after the shoot-out.
Victims with gunshot wounds are being treated at One Las Vegas hospital.
