Banned sectarian outfit Lashkar-i-Jhangvi (LeJ) claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing at a Muharram procession in Jacobabad, Pakistan.

Sindh Interior Minister Suhail Anwar Siyal stated that two committees have been formed to investigate the attack, the Dawn reported.

He also hinted at the alleged involvement of the Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) and said that it has been engaged in terrorist attacks in Pakistan and is active across Sindh.

At least 22 people have been killed, mostly women, and 40 others injured in a deadly suicide blast through a Muharram procession in Lashari Muhalla in Jacobabad in Pakistan.

Many Shia organizations protested against the security forces and demanded actions against security officials to be removed for their negligence which led to the attack.
