Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger break-up

Lewis Hamilton and girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger have reportedly ended their romance, the reason being their tight schedules.

The couple, who dated on-off for five years, were apparently finding it difficult to spend time with each other since the F1 racer is based in Switzerland, while his singer girlfriend is in the US, the Sun reported.

A source told the publication that it's so hard to keep up a relationship when the couple is barely in the same country as each other.

The insider said that both of them have supported each other in their careers and will continue to do so, but the nature of their work ultimately cost their relationship.

Just a few weeks prior to the split, 28-year-old Hamilton had expressed his desire to walk down the aisle with Scherzinger, 35.
