President of India, Pranab Mukherjee presented the Sports and Adventure Awards on Friday, at a function held at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Dipa Karmakar received the Arjuna Award for excellence in Gymnastics. She won the Bronze medal in Commonwealth Games at Glasgow in 2014.

Sreejesh P.R. received the Arjuna Award for excellence in Hockey. His main achievements in Hocley are gold medal in Asian Games at Incheon in 2014.

Abhilasha Shashikant Mhatre and Manjeet Chhillar received the Arjuna Award for excellence in Kabaddi. They won the gold medal in Asian Games at Incheon in 2014 and at Guandzhou in 2010.

Sawarn Singh received the Arjuna Award for excellence in Rowing. His main achievements in Rowing are bronze medal in Asian Games at in 2014.

Anup Kumar Yama received the Arjuna Award for excellence in Roller Skating. He won the bronze medal in World Artistic Championship in Spain in 2014 and a gold in Taiwan in 2013.

Naib Subedar Jitu Rai received the Arjuna Award for excellence in Shooting. He won the gold medal in Commonwealth Games at Glasgow in 2014.

S. Sathish Kumar received the Arjuna Award for excellence in Weightlifting. He won the gold medal in Commonwealth Games at Glasgow in 2014 with new games record and in Malayasia in 2013 and in Western Samoa in 2012.

Bajrang received the Arjuna Award for excellence in Weightlifting.

Babita Kumari received the Arjuna Award for excellence in Wrestling. She won the gold medal in Commonwealth Games at Glasgow in 2014.

Y Sanathoi Devi received the Arjuna Award for excellence in Wushu.

Sharath M Gayakwad received the Arjuna Award for excellence in Para-Swimming.

Romeo James received the Dhyan Chand Award for achievements and contribution to Hockey.

Shiv Prakash Misra received the Dhyan Chand Award for achievements and contribution to Tennis.

T.P. Padmanabhan Nair received the Dhyan Chand Award for achievements and contribution to Volleyball.

Arunima Sinha received the Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award. She scaled Mt Everest on May 21, 2013 becoming the first woman amputee to scale the world's highest peak. She has also received the Padma Shri Award.

Jot Singh received the Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award. He has dislayed sustained performance in the field of mountaineering.

Wg. Cdr. Paramvir Singh received the Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award. He has achieved excellence in the field of aqua sport.

Lt. Col. Satyendra Verma (Retd.) has researched and trained in Unique Adventure project in Skydiving, BASE jumping and Wingsuit Flying and performed them safely.
