The Lok Sabha was adjourned till noon, while the Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 11.18 a.m. on Monday, after members in both houses did not allow proceedings to start.
While Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar had to adjourn proceedings after some members moves towards the Well of the House with demands for maintaining a united Andhra Pradesh and not to go ahead with the formation of the state of Telangana, the Rajya Sabha too faced similar raucous scenes.
