The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed that Indian captain Virat Kohli is recovering from a back stiffness, which forced him to stay off the field on the fourth day of the second Test match here on Sunday.
The board, however, assured that Kohli will be back on the field soon.
England, who batted first, declared their first innings at a score of 396, inviting the Indian side on the field for batting on day four of the second Test of the ongoing five-match series at Lord's.
In reply, India have scored 14 runs at the loss of two early wickets in the form of Murali Vijay and KL Rahul.
