Lorene Scafaria, writer of 'The Meddler' will also be directing the movie, which stars Susan Sarandon, Rose Byrne and J.K. Simmons, it has been reported.
The movie will portray the story of Marnie Minervini, a recent widow and eternal optimist who would transplant into Hollywood in order to come closer to her daughter, make new friends, find a purpose and even date, Deadline.com reported
The film would be produced by Joy Gorman-Wettels and Paul Green of 'Anonymous Content.
