Shah Rukh Khan along with his team 'Dilwale' recently launched the love anthem of the year 'Gerua' from their upcoming Rohit Shetty's directorial at Maratha Mandir in Mumbai.
The song, which is featured on the iconic 'DDLJ' couple, has been sung by Arijit Singh and Antara Mitra and shows the sizzling chemistry between the two along with eye-catching backgrounds.
Talking about the song, Rohit Shetty said, "When you shoot with a couple who has been synonymous with romance on the big screen of our times, a director has an added responsibility of enhancing the grandeur that they carry. Iceland was the perfect location for Gerua and it will take romance to another level."
Claiming that Rohit wanted this song to outstand all the songs the duo has done before as they are returning to screen after a long time, SRK said, "Rohit was very clear and precise about how he would like to shoot this one. He paid attention to every detail starting from choice of location, costumes and every other technicality."
Speaking on how different 'Gerua' would be from their earlier tracks, he further said "It's all about the old world charm of Kajol and I but presented in a manner that is very much like Rohit Shetty. Shooting for the song was extremely difficult."
The leading lady of the flick revealed that they shot the song in seven days, adding they worked really hard for it as it was extremely cold but the enjoyed performing.
The flick that also stars Varun Dhawan and Kiriti Sanon is slated to release on December 18.
