Man arrested with weapon near British Parliament

A man has reportedly been arrested by London police after being found in possession of weapons near the British Parliament.

Armed police was seen blocking off Whitehall, a street lined with government buildings, and a man on the ground, local media reports said.

Security in the region has been beefed up since last month's terrorist attack in Westminster.
